1. What are the possible scholarships for International students to study in VMU?
There are several scholarships which you can use to come and study in VMU. You can choose from state scholarships or VMU scholarships. You can also come for exchange studies using Bilateral agreement and Erasmus+ programmes or to use a Free Mover status.
2. I am not an European citizen, is it hard to prepare all the documents to enroll in the VMU?

3. I do not know what to expect from Lithuania. Do they even have a wifi connection?
Yes, in fact Lithuania has one of the fastest public wifi in the World! It is one of the three Baltic states with currency Euro and rich history dating back to 1009.
4. I am not sure about the study quality of Lithuania. Are the professors qualified?
VMU is among the TOP 700 universities in the world and one of the most modern universities in Lithuania. Study programmes, such as Marketing and International Commerce and other are highly ranked according to the recognition of recruiting companies, student feedback and the salary of the first employment after graduating the university. Concerning the lectures, more and more of them (seperate courses and whole study programmes) are taught in English, many of them by professors from abroad. 5. I do not speak English very well. Can I still study in VMU?
Full-Time degree students are required to have B2 English proficiency level to enroll in the university. A proof may be an official document from an official institution showing you had courses in English or studied English or certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL.
6. I am a little bit scared that I will get lost when I will come to Lithuania, because I have never traveled out of my country.
No need to worry. VMU Ambassadors are volunteer students who either studied before in VMU or still studies here. They are willing to share their personal experience and tips about living and studying in Kaunas. VMU International Office coordinator is the master of information working in the university - the one who knows the details about application procedure, migration documents and other details, that VMU Ambassadors may not be aware of.
